The On-Boarding Process

Our on-boarding process can take anywhere from 1-6 weeks, depending on the size of your business. Here is a brief look at what you can expect:

Step 1: Obtaining Information

To begin, the on-boarding process start with the collection of information about your current invoice system and how you prepare and file your alcohol taxes. This step of the process includes identifying tax and IT contacts so that moving you to an automated tax platform can be as streamlined as possible.

Step 2: Integration

Once we’ve collected all the information, a data sample of your invoice system will be sent for analysis. During the integration process we try to determine the most efficient way to get the data from your system to the AlcTax Compliance platform.

Step 3: Data Interpretation

The purpose of the data analysis step in the process, is to figure out any missing alcohol tax mandatory data pieces that may be necessary for you tax calendar requirements.

Step 4: Testing

During the testing phase, our goal is to use AclTax Compliance’s automated process to duplicate already filed tax returns.

Step 5: Mentoring

During the mentoring phase of the process, we will train you on how to use the AlcTax Compliance software and will periodically hold zoom meetings throughout on-boarding. It is during this process that you will learn how to transfer the data from you invoice system to the AlcTax Compliance platform, as well as, how to review the output files and approve them for e-filing.
