The On-Boarding Process

Depending on the size of your business, on-boarding can take anywhere from 1-6 weeks. Here’s a look at our 5 step process:

Step 1: Gathering Information

The first step of the on-boarding process is to gather information about your invoice system and any of the preparations you make to file your motor fuel taxes. This includes determining tax and IT contacts to guarantee that your shift to our tax automation platform goes smoothly.

Step 2: Integration

After all the information has been gathered, a data sample of your invoice system will be sent off for analysis. The integration process includes determining the best method of transferring data from your current system to the FueTax Compliance platform.

Step 3: Data Discovery

During this step of the process, our objective is to find any missing motor fuel tax mandatory data pieces that are necessary for your tax calendar.

Step 4: Testing

The goal of testing is to replicate tax returns that have already been filed by using FueTax Compliance’s automated process.

Step 5: Teaching

The final step of our on-boarding process is training. During this time, we will make sure that you know how the FueTax Compliance system works, and will meet with you via zoom to answer any questions you may have. This is when you will be taught the process of how to transfer the data from your invoice system to the FueTax Compliance platform and how to look over the output files and give approval of those numbers for filing.
